Development captures.

The eye, in a new light.

Designed for clear, detailed slit lamp imaging. The view comes through your slit lamp’s own optics, with the magnification and illumination controls you already know.

Built around your slit lamp.

Our digital eyes connect at the oculars of the slit lamp you already trust. A touchscreen terminal attaches to the table, and our Display Glasses bring the stereo view to you. Your slit lamp stays exactly as it is.

The exam is short.
A career of them is not.

Exam after exam, the slit lamp asks you to lean in and hold still. Our Display Glasses are designed to free you to examine in a natural, upright position.

With our Display Glasses

Built differently,
on purpose.

True stereoscopic 3D

Two cameras, one behind each eyepiece. Each captures its own channel and sends it to the matching lens in our Display Glasses, so the depth you get at the oculars is designed to carry through, rather than being flattened onto a screen.

Fits the slit lamp you already own

Cameras mount directly to the oculars of your slit lamp, any brand, and nothing about your microscope changes. Flip them up and out of the way whenever you want your oculars back.

A sensor built for the slit beam.

Behind each eyepiece sits a high-sensitivity sensor, selected for the slit lamp’s most demanding scene: an intense slit beam, with the surrounding anatomy in shadow. Its high dynamic range is designed to hold detail in the brightest beam and the darkest shadow at the same time.

Your direct view stays yours.

Flip the cameras up and you are back at the oculars in seconds, with the slit lamp exactly as it was. Use our Display Glasses for the exams that suit them and direct optics for those that don’t.

What changes in the exam lane.

Upgrade, don’t replace.

There’s nothing wrong with your slit lamp, so keep it. The VitaPixel SVS adds a stereo 3D view, a shared 2D live view for observers, and digital image capture.

Upright positioning

The live exam is in the glasses, so you can sit back from the oculars and stay connected to the patient between views.

Documentation

Capture and export DICOM-ready stills and video from the view you are already looking at, with a button on the joystick or a tap on the touchscreen.

Patient Comfort

The cameras are designed to work with less slit illumination than a direct exam requires. And with the view in the glasses, you can put the patient’s position first and still sit upright yourself.

Teaching & Training

Observers in the room can follow your exam on the 2D touchscreen. An optional second pair of our Display Glasses, or a 3D display, gives a trainee the same live view you have.
